£1,553,622 raised in The Big Give Christmas Challenge

This was the biggest and best year for The Childhood Trust's Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017.

Our campaign supported 58 charities with matched funding, with 97% of the charities meeting or exceeding their target.

The success of the campaign means that even more disadvantaged children all over London can receive practical, emotional and inspirational support from local projects funded by the Christmas Challenge.

Laurence Guinness, The Chief Executive of The Childhood Trust said; "I want to thank everyone who donated for their kindness and generosity. Our campaigns bring people, companies, trusts and foundations together to create something bigger than the sum of it's parts. It's a wonderful way of ensuring that disadvantaged children's needs are met and helps to create a genuine sense of community in London for donors, charities and the children they support."

You can read about the need for this campaign in an article in the London Evening Standard that featured our research with 22 charities in London supporting 25,190 children.
