The Childhood Trust’s Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018 raised £1,919,674 for 75 brilliant projects working to support disadvantaged children in London.
Our annual matched fundraising campaign ran for 1 week and engaged over 1m Londoners. The campaign was backed by our research with 33 charities supporting 63,000 disadvantaged children and young people. The research documents disadvantaged children’s experiences at Christmas. Resulting from these insights we produced a powerful film, donated by The Aesop Agency, that tells the real story of Christmas for many children living in poverty in London.
The Christmas Challenge 2018 was covered in The Metro and The London Evening Standard (in print)
We warmly thank all those who donated so generously to help children and young people trapped in poverty.
