The Childhood Trust has partnered with Chance UK to offer My Time, a child-focused mentoring programme for corporate volunteers looking to make long-lasting, positive impact on the lives of local children through one-to-one engagement.
* Please note: this programme is offered exclusively to the employees of companies in partnerships with The Childhood Trust.
The programme provides solution focused mentoring and group workshops for children aged 5-13 experiencing behavioural and emotional difficulties. Volunteers in the programme will mentor their matched child through one mentoring session per week to help build the child’s self-esteem and confidence.
In 2020, 87% of children supported by Chance UK’s mentoring programmes saw a reduction in behavioural difficulties at home.
The London Child Poverty Summit is a one-day event that provides opportunities for leaders in London’s third sector to collaborate and communicate key issues impacting children in poverty.
Decorate A Child’s Life uses volunteers to renovate and redecorate disadvantaged children’s bedrooms and local youth centres children rely on for support.
