Hannah’s career started with consulting for FMCG clients including ICI, Proctor & Gamble, Diageo, Seagram and United Biscuits. Whilst raising her young children she volunteered at The Tavistock and Portman with children at risk of abuse and neglect which opened her eyes to the enormous suffering and multiple disadvantages affecting children in London.
Changing careers in 2012, Hannah has worked with a number of children’s charities including Action for Children, Kids Company, Dance United, Grief Encounter and Spread a Smile. She has worked on impact measurement, service delivery and fundraising projects with a particular focus on evaluation and partnerships with trusts and foundations. Hannah is committed to making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and to widening participation in the Childhood Trust’s unique and effective approach to tackling child poverty in the capital.
Hannah lives in north west London with her two wonderful teenaged sons and a recalcitrant whippet. She is a partner in Synergy Growth LLP, a private tech investment fund co-founded by her late husband. She is a trustee of The Longford Trust and mentors one of the Longford scholars. Hannah has a masters in Human Rights from the LSE where her research focused on inequality and children’s rights.
