What happens to the 700,000 children living in poverty when schools close this summer?

Every school holiday, hundreds of thousands of children across London lose access to essentials like food, safe spaces, and the chance to simply be children. For many, school holidays aren’t always a holiday — they miss out on the things they love most, from swimming lessons and drama classes to playing with friends. When these opportunities are taken away, who steps in? The answer is our London Charity Partner Network.

To help fund over 130 charitable organisations providing vital support in London this summer, we’re launching our #BringTheirArtToLife spring appeal — starting with the unveiling of a new mural on Shoreditch’s Great Eastern Art Wall. Shaped by the voices of over 80 young Londoners, the mural celebrates the simple joys of childhood and reminds us that too many children miss out on these moments during school holidays.

With your help, we can change that. Your support will enable us to continue funding essential activities for children living in poverty this summer — from meals and mentoring to therapy, sports, youth clubs, and art programmes.

Get involved and help us #BringTheirArtToLife.

1) Donate Today

By donating today, you’ll help fund over 130 organisations in our London Charity Partner Network, delivering essential services to ensure every child has a happy, healthy, and safe childhood. Your support provides critical resources like food, education, emotional support, and safe spaces—especially during the summer when many children are most vulnerable.

2) Visit the mural

Head on down to see our young artists work at:

Great Eastern Street,
London,
EC2A 3EJ

But don’t just visit it, take a photo, share it on social media, and help us raise awareness of the challenges young people face during the school holidays and make their art come to life!

3) Spread the word

Join our community of supporters and celebrities and get involved in our # challenge! Post a photo from your childhood, reflect on your experience growing up, and highlight how it compares to the reality many children in London face today - especially during school holidays.

Use our ready-made social media templates to make it easy to share your story and call for donations. Together, we can raise awareness, and help every child in London enjoy the safe, happy childhood they deserve.

4) Fundraise for us

Whether it's organising a walk to visit our #BringTheirArtToLife mural with your office or friends, hosting an art class at your workplace, or finding creative ways to raise money for our charity partners this summer, there are countless possibilities

A special thank you

This campaign wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for our amazing young artists across London who shared their hopes and dreams with us. We can’t thank our London Charity Partner Network enough for helping us collect these art works, especially Westminster House Youth Club, The Winch, SEAPIA, Toynbee Hall, or WAC Arts, enough for facilitating the art workshops and helping us gather the children’s voices.

And thank you to Cain International and Global Street Art for giving us the opportunity to share our young artists work with the rest of London.
