The London to Brighton on 10 September 2023 is an iconic route that takes participants through the scenic South Downs. The 55 mile ride will take you over hills as you head out of London along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstea, Banstead and Haywards Heath. Stop at the picturesque village of Turners Hill for lunch, stay hydrated at water stops along the route of this challenging cycle ride to keep you on course to the finish line. The final challenge - Ditchling Beacon- a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where you can pause to reward your incredible efforts while drinking in the breath taking views.

The rest of the way is smooth sailing all the way to Brighton Beach where you'll get to celebrate your achievement with friends and family.

We'll help you smash your £350 fundraising target with our tips and toolkit and you'll get a free t-shirt when you raise your first £50.

It was quite daunting to think about climbing Ditchling Beacon but my weekend training sessions outside of London really prepared me and I was amazed as I rode past plenty of people who were walking their bikes up the hill.
The best part was sailing down the hill on the other side and finally reaching Brighton Beach!
